Come make the fire with me

come make the fire with me
come make the fire with me
welcome to the end
leave your regrets outside the door
help me turn the cold
into a hot night
don't -- freeze
light it up now
-"Making the Fire"

I really enjoyed The Road by Cormac McCarthy.  The points about 'carrying the fire' stuck with me.  This year I'm thinking about the fire ... I've been in the company of many real campfires, but lately I'm thinking more fire as a symbol of energy and change, of bringing people and ideas together, of making something bigger, of combining curiosity and passion, and of following your dreams.

We're putting the wraps on another Rich Thomsen & SquareSpiral original, "Making the Fire" right now.  "Making the Fire" will complete a six song EP of electropop that we look forward to releasing later this year.  Have you made your own fire yet?

“Keep a little fire burning; however small, however hidden.”

Love Will Carry You - featuring Melissa Moser

Have you ever had one of those perfect end-of-summer days? The sun's shining, the water's sparkling on the lake...and then the evening chill sets in as you take a sip of a warm beverage. This song isn't about any of those things. It's a lullaby I wrote many years ago.
I just had one of those perfect summer days. And this production of "Love Will Carry You" featuring Melissa Moser's vocals (Melissa Moser Music) and Chris Upfield's production is the last thing I want to listen to before I drift off to sleep tonight.
I hope you feel the same way -- don't forget to share it with all your friends!
