Performing Live on Concert Window

Hey friends!  If you've heard about Concert Window and haven't signed up as a Rich Thomsen Fan yet, please go straight to: https://www.concertwindow.com/richthomsen and sign up as a 'Fan'  Then search for richthomsen and 'Follow' in the top right corner to get instant notifications any time I go live!

Back to what this Concert Window thing is...

Over the last few months, I've been working on my setup for performing LIVE online.  It's a service called Concert Window.  I was turned on to Concert Window after hearing about the Twitter / Periscope service.  I watched an Information Society concert through Periscope and my Apple TV.  The video and audio quality was not very good but I really enjoyed getting to see the show that night.

Concert Window takes it up a notch, allowing higher quality audio and video (HD with the right gear and Internet speed).   It's not just a YouTube video because it's LIVE.  As a fan, you can type comments to me during the show to queue up requests or simply say hello!  Since its not prerecorded I can talk to you back, while you sit on the couch via your tablet, or device streaming to your television!  There is also a ticket and tip system to reserve seats at limited shows or get other cool stuff (I can do a concert right from YOUR home with my mobile setup).

With Concert Window I do 'scheduled' shows, weeks in advance, but can also perform spontaneously when I am in the mood.  If you're a Concert Window 'Fan' you'll get notified when I hit that 'Go Live' button.   If you haven't checked it out yet, go to https://www.concertwindow.com/richthomsen right now!

I have a show coming up tomorrow (Sunday, August 2nd) at 7pm CST.  In that show I'll be playing for 30-40 minutes, including a mix of original and cover songs, as piano/vocal arrangements.  Don't forget to say hello!  You can watch Concert Window shows on almost any device: computer, laptop, phone, or tablet. You can also "send" your stream to your television via Apple TV or Google Chromecast.

I'm not just talking about Concert Window for listeners.  If you'd like to be a part of an upcoming show and live in the Twin Cities metro, please contact me with 1 or 2 songs you'd like to do (eg. piano/guitar/vocal solo or with me) and I'll see if there is a way to work it out.   If you're a musician and would like to create an account to host your own concerts, click here:
